A charity entry in a google search engine optimisation contest
could win thousands of dollars for Oxfam. The aim of the contest
is to rank number one on a google search for the term v7ndotcom
elursrebmem.
http://www.v7
ndotcom-elursrebmem-contest.com has been created with the
sole aim of winning the contest for charity. Several high
profile webmasters and search engine optimisation experts have
already pledged their support and the sites creators believe
that more will follow.
The designers of http://www.v7
ndotcom-elursrebmem-contest.com are hoping that a large
number of webmasters will be interested in this contest but
won’t have the time or resources to take part themselves. By
putting their weight, or back links, behind this charity entry
everybody can take part and win a large sum of money for Oxfam.
Dave Smith, creator of the v7ndotcom-elursrebmem-contest.com
site, also hopes that the contest will raise awareness of how
non-profit organisations can use the internet effectively for
promotion.
http://www.v7ndotcom-elursrebmem-contest.com is not just relying
on people’s generosity to win this contest - it also uses all
the available knowledge of search engine optimisation to create
a site that is clear and easy to navigate with lots of useful
information.
Key features of the site include a blog which will be updated
throughout the contest and a live v7ndotcom elursrebmem leader
board which can be easily integrated to any third party website.
Controversy and a certain amount of hype has surrounded this
contest from the start, the official press release for the
contest stated that “John Scott, editor and administrator of
v7n.com, announced the contest on December 20th, with a $1,000
grand prize. Soon afterwards Greg Boser, a web page optimizer,
announced a $1,000 reward for not playing by v7n rules. Two of
Greg Boser’s friends - Mike Grehan and Todd Friesen - then
contributed to the reward pot, bringing the anti-contest grand
prize to $3,000.
Many in the SEO community were outraged by what they saw as an
attack on the popular v7n community, and John Scott in
particular. The blogging community rallied and added $3,000 plus
an iPod to the v7n contest, putting the total at $7,000 and an
iPod for the grand prize winner, with smaller cash amounts to
those who place 2nd through 5th.”
Whatever the motives of the organisers it is clear that this
contest and v7ndotcom elursrebmem is set to be one of the most
discussed topics of the next few months.
If anyone wishes to help
http://www.v7ndotcom-elursrebmem-contest.com win this contest
for charity or are interested in the methods being used to
promote the site please look at our homepage or the FAQ’s

Most of us have goals.
Big ones, small ones. But not always do we follow through with them and that…hum…could be dangerous.
You see, within a lifetime our goals may change a little or dramatically, which is fine. The problem is when you have definite goals but can’t follow through with them. It’s crushing. It makes you feel miserable. As if you can’t accomplish anything properly. You start something but it stays unfinished. That’s the deception we want to stay away from. It is a bad bad habit!
Here are a few tips to start fresh!
Write your goal down. I know it’s simple but it works! On a calendar, on a notebook, perhaps put a reminder in your computer to pop up everyday. Write it anywhere where you will be able to see it and where it will make an impact to encourage action. Action is the step that will ultimately finish your goal. Tip one: write it down
Break it down. Smaller steps are easier and more achievable. It makes you feel better because you actually did part of your goal. Give yourself a pat on the shoulder! Tip two: smaller goals = achievable.
Just do it. The action that will make your story a happy story. Not being fastidious here, just realistic. That’s where most of us fail (gym membership that you never use, correspondent course that ended without you, boxes that are still unpack after 2 years of moving in ect.). This is where the bad old habit disappears; it’s when the action replaces the inertia. Tip three: Just do it.
“Nature gave man two ends -one to sit on and one to think with. Ever since, man’s success has been dependent on the one he uses most.” -George R. Fitzpatrick

Though acne may not be a serious problem, it can sometimes lead to psychological and mental stress. Many people lose their self esteem because of this problem.
So what causes acne? Acne is caused by hormonal disorder. Excessive secretion of the skin oil glands combine with naturally occurring dead skin cells and block the hair follicles. This oil secretion beneath the blocked pore provides a perfect environment for the skin bacteria Propionibacterium acnes to multiply, and thus the skin inflames producing the visible lesion.
Acne commonly occurs in adolescents and young adults. Almost 85 percent of people between the ages of 11 and 30 have acne outbreaks at some point. Acne tends to go away by the time you reach your thirties, but for some people it may even go up to their forties and fifties.
Causes of Acne:
Several other factors that cause Acne are:
Hormonal changes during menstrual cycles and puberty.
Stress, as it causes an increase in output of hormones from the adrenal glands.
Hyperactive sebaceous glands, secondary to the three hormone sources above.
Build-up of dead skin cells.
Bacteria in the pores.
Skin irritation or scratching of any sort will activate inflammation.
Use of anabolic steroids.
Medicines that contain halogens (iodides, chlorides, bromides), lithium, barbiturates, or androgens.
Sudden exposure to high levels of chlorine compounds, particularly chlorinated dioxins.
Adult acne:
25% of adult men and 50% of adult women get affected by adult acne at some time in their adult lives. It can cause depression and social anxiety the same way it can in a teenager. Adult acne is more common than people may think. The causes of adult acne are unknown; however it is believed to occur because of these reasons:
Recurrence of acne that cleared up after adolescence
Flare-up of acne after a period of relative quiet, especially during pregnancy
It is best to consult a dermatologist for the proper treatment. You would have to use Clear Skin Regimen using benzoyl peroxide. Treatment for adult acne is the same as treatment for teen acne.
Body acne:
Body acne is a common problem which occurs mostly on the chest, back and buttocks. Like facial acne, stress and hormones are the cause. Other factors like perspiration and wearing tight fitting clothing also causes body acne. Tight-fitting clothing traps perspiration against the skin and mixes with surface oils, thus clogging the pores and causing blemishes.
Treatments:
The treatment is aimed at healing the existing lesions, stopping new lesions from forming, and preventing scarring. The dermatologist would prescribe several over-the-counter (OTC) medicines depending on the extent of the problem. Some of the medicines would be topical to apply on the skin and others may be oral.
Some of the common OTC topical medicines are:
Benzoyl peroxide - This helps to destroy acne and also reduces oil production.
Resorcinol - This helps in breaking down blackheads and whiteheads.
Salicylic acid - This helps in breaking down blackheads and whiteheads. It also cuts down the shedding of cells lining the hair follicles.
Sulfur - This helps in breaking down blackheads and whiteheads.
The prescription topical medicines include:
Antibiotics - They help slow or stop the growth of bacteria and reduce inflammation.
Vitamin A derivatives - They help in unplugging the existing comedones, thus allowing other topical medicines to enter the follicles.
Others - Benzoyl peroxide, sodium sulfacetamide/sulfur or Azelaic acid help to reduce oil production or help stop or slow the growth of bacteria and reduce inflammation.
Following these treatments would cure your acne, and the psychological stress and embarrassment caused by this disease will also go away.

A society keeps record of most of the events. The events are recorded in the form of numbers. Births, deaths and marriages are few of the events recorded and kept as statistics for further references to aid decisions for many course of actions. Similarly data and events are recorded in different spheres such as crime and economy.
The purpose of criminal statistics is two fold. The first one controls and restricts the individual’s actions to prevent from being committed again. The second purpose is to aid the decision makers, usually the legislatures, legal courts to enact reactive as well as proactive laws to reduce the occurrence of such crimes.
DUI is a crime and therefore the state maintains records of such occurrences through various agencies such as police departments, department of motor vehicle (DMV). It is estimated that there are seven agencies involved in a DUI case. The record contains details like penalty, jail sentence, license confiscation and any attendance of alcohol program.
The record is opened in case of repeat offense and the record remains there always. Based on the record, the punishment for the next offense gets harsher. The record is open to the public and is accessed by individuals, organizations for various purposes. Employers who want to hire may check the criminal record of the individual and therefore the chances of a DUI convict getting employed gets slimmer. Insurance companies also access the record before insuring some one. Some organizations have the policy of not hiring someone with a DUI record.
It is possible to have the DUI records cleared in all states except Illinois. The process is called expungement. Lawyers help clearing the records from different agencies. Other than loss of financial opportunities, the psychological trauma of going through a DUI process and the labeling with a DUI record is often great and this has great impact when the individual is a teen.
