What’s In Your Beverage? How to Ensure Quality Control with CO2 Analytical Support

Filed under: Universe Of Technology — admin @ 5:45 pm

Calibration standards, performance audits, and the FDA’s
never-ending safety, labeling, and inspection requirements are
just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to dealing with the
increasingly stringent quality control standards of the beverage
industry. As these quality standards become stricter, beverage
producers are increasingly called upon to get products to market
faster using fewer resources, while simultaneously managing
ingredient quality, and ultimately, risk.

Mix rigorous regulations and mounting market challenges with
exploding competition and the opportunity for enormous economic
reward, and it becomes obvious that products must be perfect the
first time around to fulfill production requirements, comply
with distribution standards, and ultimately provide each
consumer with the exact same exceptional product every time.

All of which makes quality control more necessary than ever.

Quality Assurance in the beverage industry starts by ensuring
that top quality gases are used to perform the carbonation
process and continues through the bottling and distributing
process with a high-tech quality control examination.

On the top of the list of gases regulated in the world of drink
is carbon dioxide (CO2), one of the main components of many of
the beverages produced today, including soda, beer, sparkling
water, and sports drinks. CO2 has also become a major
constituent of orange juice through supercritical CO2 processing
during pasteurization and has even entered the world of dairy
with the addition of “Refreshing Power Milk,” a new carbonated
milk hybrid, to the refreshments market.

Leading beverage manufacturers in this $700 billion industry are
taking the critical step to ensure purity of beverage-grade CO2
by using analytical support gases and quality assurance
services. Since ensuring purity of CO2 is such a crucial factor
in the beverage production process, choosing a specialty gas company
to provide purification, calibration, and cross-reference
services for your products should be a priority.

Keep in mind that specialty gas companies outside of the
beverage industry hold a uniquely favorable position as
authoritative and neutral third-party qualifiers. These
companies provide experience in developing trace contaminant
calibration standards as well as independence from the supply
and certification of beverage grade CO2, which helps to ensure
unbiased statistical and graphical reporting.

Regardless of the industry from which the service company
originates, it is vital that it provides specialized service in
the CO2 industry and adheres to industry standards on commercial
quality with regard to CO2.

Some more guidelines to consider when choosing a Quality Control
Specialty Gas Service: * Your CO2 supplier should provide
certification and analysis indicating compliance with commercial
quality standards, such as ISBT, the International Society of
Beverage Technologists

* Your quality assurance service company should have the
resources available to create custom gas mixtures for CO2
ingredient quality control. Typical components include (but are
not limited to) the following:

Methane Ethane Ethanol Dimethyl Ether Ethyl Acetate Methanol
Ammonia Nitric Oxide Nitrogen Dioxide Carbonyl Sulfide
Acetaldehyde Benzene Cyclohexane Ethylbenzene Diethyl Ether
Toluene m-Xylene p-Xylene o-Xylene

* Preparing two sets of gas mixtures should be standard
procedure for your chosen service company, with double analysis
of each set to check for minor component stability, and
guarantee a shelf life for the components.

* To further assure accurate results, your service company
should identify inaccuracies and verify analytical processes by
having participant labs analyze blind internal audit standards.

* Your service company should furnish a report to your company’s
quality control department detailing analytical results,
including a statistical representation of the performance of
each participant laboratory.

* Membership in the International Society of Beverage
Technologists (ISBT) Quality Committee, Carbon Dioxide
Subcommittee, should be maintained in order to keep abreast of
emerging analytical methods and technologies within the beverage
industry.

* Top of the line service companies will provide CO2
Cross-Referencing Services to confirm the accuracy of critical
analytical processes. These programs provide beverage
manufacturers with a reliable and objective method of monitoring
the performance of multiple laboratories who qualify carbon
dioxide used in carbonated beverages as well as confirm
ingredient quality. Cross-Referencing Service should be
considered in order to:

o Achieve the highest degree of confidence in the accuracy of
analyses; o Confidentially identify inconsistencies or other
problems in analytical processes; and o Maintain reliable and
accurate intra-company quality assurance.

* Most importantly, make sure the service company has top rate
Internal CO2 Audit Standards to meet the most demanding accuracy
requirements for virtually any type of customized mixture and
that a Certificate of Accuracy is provided for each cylinder.

By choosing a Quality Control Specialty Gas Service
carefully, your company can be sure to keep pace with the
ever-expanding list of regulations — and quite possibly gain an
even larger piece of this multi-billion dollar pie.

Grow you business like a garden

Filed under: Biz — admin @ 4:35 pm

Just as a gardener prepares his garden beds by tilling, testing
the soil, fertilizing, watering and preparing it for his seeds.
So must the home business person also prepare his business bed.
Do your research on the business you are interested in. Know
what they offer, how they pay, what you can expect. However you
need to make sure that you do not over fertilize on the endless
amount of information. Just know that you, like the gardener
will always need to re-test and get more information. Over
fertilizing to start with will leave you in confusion and unable
to differentiate the best of what you have. Planting seed: Now
is when the tomatoes and peppers are started inside. And it is
also when you put out information to those that you know
personally. This is not really getting the plants in the ground
but it is the best way to have a fine harvest. Just like the
fact that the tomatoes take so much longer and so need to be
started ahead of time so will most of the contacts that you hit
at this time. Most of them will want to wait and see how you
really do before they jump on board. But as time goes by they
will grow. Always remember that even if they do not think much
of prospect to start with everyone with time can come around.
Realize that the tomato plants produce more fruit in the long
run then do some of the fast growers. Now the gardener lines his
rows and plots out what seed to put where. He knows that
radishes grow fast and so he mixes them into the same row as the
slow growing carrots. I am talking of gardeners not farmers that
plant whole fields of one crop. Gardeners of any kind plant more
then one type of plant. Flower gardeners may plant a rose bed,
but they have different varieties of roses. So must the home
business have more then one venue. This way you have more then
one source to help bring in the income. Choose to start with
business that has an auto responder (automatic sprinkler system)
with it, this will save you much time for yourself and your
family. If you can find one that has advertising included for a
time it will save you a small fortune in that area. Defiantly
find one that has training if you are new to the game (step by
step instructions at this point will save you a lot of money and
headaches). Packaged together you can reap more from your
investment faster. As your shoots start to grow you will want to
put a fence around them to protect them from pests, I have a lot
of rabbits and snakes here. For my business this part is not
letting people turn me aside from my goal. My business plant may
not yet have been what I wanted it to be but I would not let
friends and family tell me that since I didn’t get rich
overnight or in the first week or month that it was doomed a
failure. Protect what you have invested your time and money into
and it will keep growing and you will have that harvest that you
are seeking. If someone tries to tell you that you can get rich
really fast without working or putting out any money, look out
it may be illegal. Time to do a partial harvest and weed and
replant. Lettuce, spinach and radishes have an early harvest.
But it is a small harvest because no gardener will plant much of
this crop because they do not keep for long, and no one wants to
watch their efforts go in the trash can. So you are starting to
reap some rewards. Now weed out the dead ends that seem to be in
the way and keeping you from your greatest harvest. The gardener
will now replant where he has harvested so that he can get more
out of the bare area. Sometimes he will replant the same type
plant and sometimes something different depending on the
research he knows about his garden. You to must replace the dead
ends that you have weeded out. Maybe it is just changing from
one Nutritional program to one that has a new product and so
your chances are better with it. Or maybe you will need to go in
a totally new direction, only you can by research know what is
best for you at this point. The rewards are now yours. Keep
weeding and harvesting, sometimes it takes months to see the
full potential of your business garden. You may at times even
think that the weeds far outweigh the harvestable plants, but as
you keep working you will see that it isn’t as bad as you
thought. Just believe in yourself and the work that you have put
forth and keep growing. I will not try to tell you that it will
be easy. Nothing worth having is as easy as someone else makes
it seem. All gardens and businesses take time and effort and
downright work to see the end harvest. That doesn’t mean that
you won’t reap some really good harvests in the middle but the
big harvest takes time to reach. Be patient and make it fun to
learn and grow your business you will not regret it. Just as a
garden has expenses like the seed, water, a rake, hoe, shovel.
So will the business garden. Never fall for something that says
it will never cost you anything to grow your business, It is a
Lie. Some expenses will be small, some larger. Just remember
though that it can be done slow. And you can start with doing
some things that are not to expensive. You do not have to be the
first ad on Google your first week out. If you have the money
for that then by all means do so, but if not take your time and
grow your business to that point. Upgrading from free services
to the pay services is absolutely great, but don’t end up
homeless doing it to soon. You can take your time and reap just
as great a harvest. Just keep growing forward and you will grow
to where everything just flows and is beautiful to you. You want
to reached your harvest without having to buy the produce
section of the local wal-mart to make it look like you got
there. Good Luck and Happy Growing

Fluency in Spanish is two days or less

Filed under: College Education — admin @ 10:35 am

Now I’ve got your attention with my catchy title. I must ask ”
Did you really believe this was possible? “. Surely not, but
maybe you clicked on the link because you want to learn another
language and don’t really want to spend long doing it.

Clearly, it isn’t possible to learn a language in two days but
there are methods you can use to speed up the process.
Techniques you can use to remember words, clever mnemonics, the
roman room method, concept maps, tools which will improve your
memory, and suchlike.

Pah.

I don’t want to spend my time doing this. I’m too busy. What can
I do instead. I’m looking for something easier, something more
passive, something that can happen around me if and when I feel
like learning. And I don’t want to leave the house either.

I have some suggestions to start.

1. Improve your vocabulary.

Write Spanish names on everyday items. This is an easy way to
expand your vocabulary, and not only that, associates the
Spanish words with the objects, something that straight
vocabulary learning does not do. This makes it easier to
remember a word when you need it. To prevent boredom setting in,
start with the drinks cabinet, wine cellar or plastic bag with
the booze in it.

2. Improve your comprehension.

Don’t listen to the Spanish radio. You won’t understand any of
it until you are at an advanced level, and it is discouraging.

Instead watch Spanish TV (which can be done over the Internet)
concentrating on the soaps (telenovelas). You don’t need to
understand them to enjoy them, and the same language is repeated
again and again. Look up the meaning of commonly used
expressions. As you will hear them so often, once you are hooked
on telenovelas, you can’t help but remember them.

3. Improve your spoken language

If you don’t want to leave the house practice on your nearest
and dearest. Get them to learn some Spanish. If you don’t use
it, you lose it. This is especially true with foreign language
learning, and it is important to constantly reinforce what you
are learning.

4. Stay Motivated

This is the hardest part of language learning. So book a holiday
in a Spanish speaking country, and keep learning key eating and
drinking words. Barcelona is a great place to practice them in.
In fact Barcelona is such good place to practice Spanish in that
you might spend longer there than you intended.

So that’s it. You are not going to learn Spanish or any other
language in two days, but if you stick words on everyday items,
and watch soaps you will learn something with minimal effort.

SEO Copywriting for Affiliates

Filed under: Market Commerce — admin @ 12:11 am

SEO copywriting or Search Engine Optimized Copywriting is the writing (or re-writing) of text - articles, product reviews, comparisons, how-to’s etc. in a way that they rank high in a search engine search. That is, if a person is searching for a particular keyword, (”swan”) or key phrase (”mute swan signet”) and one or both are keywords/keyword phrases for your site, that you will rank well in a search. The first page or two are what counts, because most people won’t go any further.

SEO copywriting needs to accomplish two objectives: To attract the search engine and obtain a good ranking once it crawls the site, and to provide interest and value to the reader. When your site ranks high, more people will see it and visit and you will have the ability to increase your sales or fulfill other objectives, such as membership or contributions.

Using search term tools, such as Wordtracker, find relevant words and phrases that describe your content, and are popular, but not highly competitive, with a multitude of users. There’s no exact science to the number of keywords or density percentage on a page, but they should be spread throughout the page and always appear in the first sentence and the headings. Be sure to use singular and plural of the words as well as synonyms, and other related words, such as waterfowl in the swan example. The keywords and Key phrases should use HTML header codes H1 for primary headlines, and H2 for subheads. Title tags appear as the title of your page in search engine results, and should contain your most relevant keywords for each page, so the searcher is delivered to highest area of interest and remains there to take the action it was created for.
