Respect the Lineup, Make the Move and Date

Filed under: Dating Online, Helping People — admin @ 7:17 pm

First, I’m not a mass-produced laid back man, traditionally satisfied by watching junk tv alone on a Friday night. It’s unlikely readers have never witnessed me blog about great dating and compatibility. There’s a reason for that.

Boredom is an unfortunate quality and totally missing from my family history. Let me go on, There’s no point avoiding it, I had to escape from a 3-year fling that meant something to me but truly deadended for both of us. So somone could tell ya it may have been ages since I dated. I’m missing the optimism of dating thru great expectations I once did.

Single life has had its perks so far. This much is certain, I won’t spend another weekend peacefully binging on Battlestar Galactica reruns. The number one reason for this bout of weekend dating apathy? We’re not in high school, and most ladies I meet at work are taken.

My take-no-holds golf friend, Andrew, who doesn’t know the meaning of dating apathy, told me he’s now in a similar place. He joinedGreat Expectations Dallas. A bit out of character, but I enjoy introductions with attractive gals who meet my values. So I bit the bullet and joined.

Keep it real, ya can’t complain about not having plans when you haven’t tried to meet anyone. Just like our mentor and football coach Jason Smith told me between war stories, “If you don’t run you can’t score, shooter.”

The man didn’t know my name. But, the old man was truly a wise sould in a good old fashioned way. He meant well to everyone. This amazing series of singles events in Dallas here might’ve done a number on the old man’s mind.

At yesterday’s Great Expectations dating events I spent time with a few insightful and attractive ladies that meet my interest. I actually had a good time with dozens of indisputably noteworthy singles. The evening ended with a promising exchange of numbers, and as a plus, I developed some political acquaintances for my job. I’m impressed.

Put yourself in the play. Can’t score if you don’t try. Take it from me, believe in your own great expectations for for your own good.

Frankly,

Keith

Voip For Telephone Calls Can Create Huge Savings Each Year to Your Budget

Filed under: Telecommunication — admin @ 3:26 pm

Introduction

Voip services are improving at an alarming rate, quality of sound is now on par with land lines, it is now possible to use your regular phone in conjunction with your voip service. This new technology puts the Voip services where they have not been before.

Advantages of voip are

* Huge cost savings in local, national and international calls

* Free calls to persons using the same provider

* Take your phone service where ever you go world wide (ideal for the traveller)visit Ipez.net for a typical solution for this.

* Ability to use video type conferencing, of course need a web cam and the provider needs to supply this function.

* Some suppliers provide up to 6 - way conferencing

Disadvantages

* You require Internet access

* Quality of call by some providers can be poor

* You may require broadband for some functions such as video conference.

* Maybe stuck to a computer if the provider does not provide a quality solution.

Explanations of the above

There are various solutions to making a call the most common being the soft phone. This is the software that is provided by the provider. The software downloads to your computer; the operator enters their user I.D. and password and enters. They can then make the call using the keyboard or no’s provided on the soft phone by pointing and clicking the mouse.

The more advanced providers provide a hard phone, not that much different to your regular phone only it plugs into your USB port. Ipez provides a device that is much like an mp3 Player it plugs into the USB port and is loaded with the Ipez software. Once detected by the computer the soft-phone loads and you can log in. This is great for the traveller, or person whom uses multiple computers maybe a businessman. The device fits into the palm of your hand and can be taken anywhere. An earpiece and mike, fits in the back for you to communicate to the other end user.

When considering a provider, give lots of consideration to your needs. Research the provider see what they provide and compare with others. Do they provide functions like these below?

Functions

* Videoconference

* Quality hardware

* Sound quality

* Capps and rates

* Are there contracts to consider?

Explanations

Videoconference is not provided by all suppliers do your research if this is a feature you would like. Remember if you do not have a web cam you will need to purchase one, these are quite inexpensive these days.

The quality of the hard phone can make a substantial difference to the sound. Therefore do not compromise here, it’s a one of payment you do not rent it you own it. Take care of the device dropping it or exposing to water and heat will damage the device so keep it in a safe place.

It is important to understand a little about the technology as well for instance the bandwidth that is used. Some only use 12-14 bps (bits per second) others can use 64bps. What does this mean to the user? For 1 if you have limited downloads it can add to this secondly the less bps used the higher quality the call as using less bandwidth.

Check your previous bills to see whether you would benefit from capped calls, or you may prefer to just purchase a small block of airtime until you get used to it. If you make quite a few calls capped may be the better option.

Don’t forget to get your friends to join as most providers give free calls between customers using the same service. E.g. a user of Ipez can call another Ipez user for free. This is a great way to save money you can encourage friends and relatives to join and take advantage of this option.

Finally do your research find a provider that is suitable to your needs dont compromise on quality or you may be disappointed, and start saving on all your calls

Hydrofoil Sail Craft Advance As Technology Develops Momentum

Filed under: House Of Videos — admin @ 12:25 pm

We all know how fast world-class sailboats are but did you know that hydrofoil Sail craft now exist. So what is hydrofoil technology anyway? Well, hydrofoil technology is like the fin below a sailboat, but all the fin are little wings called strakes and as the sailboat goes faster and faster the boat lifts up out of the water completely into water no longer touches the hull.

The boat looks as if it is flying, but it is really resting on the little wings underwater. How could do that? Well, the answer is really simple for one who studies hydrodynamics and flows in various fluids.

You see, there is less drag would only a little part of a boat is in the water and with very little to hold back the sailboat the wind pushes the sailboat along while it drags its little feet in water. Each year be wind power hydrofoil Sail craft break new speed records and the latest speed record set in October of 2005 is 57.5 mph or about 50 knots. But 50 knots isn’t that fast is it on the water?

Well considering that the sailboat has no engine, indeed that is one hell of a speed. Some of these hydrofoil Sail craft look like something out of a science-fiction movie in the engineer in the goes into it is nothing less than state-of-the-art in the leading edge technology.

Right now some of these exotic racing boats and their captains believe that there might be a 50 knot barrier, however it appears that sometime in 2006 someone may discover one more way to even beat that record. Time will tell.
