A common path of invisible thread to unite all the people belonging to the same community, customs and traditions worshipping one God is named as Religion. People of the same community shared the same traditions, customs, sentiments and feelings and the worship of God. So some of the responsible people wanted to lead them on to one path and they named this path ‘RELIGION.’
In order to promote love for God and not to create any discrepancies the leaders of the religion encouraged the people to worship ‘God.’ Who is God? God is the Creator of this Universe. He is super intelligent and does not need any present day technology to create or destroy any. He is omniscient and omni present. He occupies the hearts of His devotees. A true devotee is one who loves God and not love or fight in the name of God. God is great and His ways are inexplicable. So, we being human feel the necessity out of gratitude to bow to such a great being called God. When we worship Him, we are in fact worshipping and bowing to the divine qualities in him such as Selfless Love, Forbearance, Justice and Compassion. So we should always worship Him so that we are drenched in his divine qualities. God is only one but the names different religions attached to His being are different. So, different paths called religions arose in the name of devotion to God. The paths are different but the ultimate goal to reach the God is the same. Love for god is the same for any religion. When man is spiritual enough to worship God, why is he ignorant to realize the equality of divinity in all religions? Why does he fight in the name of religion? Will the Lord whom man worships and fights for, enjoys and takes happiness in these religious fights? Are we so ignorant and foolish to blame the Gods of other religions? Are they not one and the same? All religions are meant to promote love for God but never hatred towards others. No religion is great or to be blamed for reasons which are absolutely human.
For the society to live in peace and happiness, man needs to have Morality, Fear of sin and Love for God. When one has all the above three qualities he is fit to be an exemplary individual. When one has love for God, he will have fear of sin and will also be just in his thought, word and deed. To create love for God, these religions were originally created but the main aim has been diverted in the present day. Can’t we live peacefully without fighting in the name of religion? Silence is better than arguing aimlessly. If all of us minded our own religion without blaming each other religion, this earth would turn into heaven. Religious fights have become the characteristic feature of today’s life. Being citizens, we ought not to encourage such evil traits.
A truly religious person is not one who fights for religion but the one who loves God of any religion, the true meaning of religion being ‘Love for God.’
Education shouldn’t promote religious differences. It should in fact soften the life of man. Education is needed not only for mind but for soul too. It is only then will the man realize he is not to fight in the name of religion because any religion is meant to unite the individual with the divine. We see some faults in the teachings of religion as some of the people interpreted them in their own ways. Some took it to their advantage and started creating conflicts for their selfish motives. Every individual is gifted with the power of discrimination. Can’t we think for ourselves if the creation of conflicts in the name of Religion is for the welfare of the whole world or for their individual purposes? The love people have for Jesus, Allah, Ram, Buddha or any other God is the same but their paths are different according to their customs, the environment they are born and brought up and their cultural habits. Being human we tend to point out at the mistakes of other religions which are really not because we are not satisfied or confident of our own religion. It is not wrong in being religious. One has the freedom to forbid himself from worshipping different names and forms of God but he has absolutely no right to blame other religions. If we start doing it, our future generations also will learn this habit of blaming other religions and it goes on and on and this habitual chain never breaks up which ultimately leads to confusion and commotion in the living of humanity. Such mistakes or blunders will never be spared by the great one above who is a witness to all these religious fights.
It is our responsibility to look after the welfare of all the religions. When so many people believe in the existence of their religious Gods how can we deny their existence? Teaching and practicality might differ but are not impossible. At the end of this article many of your minds might think if I really follow the above. I really don’t blame other religions and though I am a Hindu I pray to Jesus, Allah and also Buddha. I sing their songs to my little child so that she gets habituated to their names and does not doubt their existence in the future. The only remedy to create religious harmony and spirituality is to teach and show our children not the forms of our religious God alone but that of others too. This way from their childhood they will have expansive knowledge and awareness of all the religions and their respective Gods and so they do not deny, fight or blame the existence of other religions and their Gods. Being spiritual is, being able to accept any religion or God.

With pride that I have been blessed with a human form, I always craved to grab any opportunity in order to utilize this human birth to the fullest and at last I found the answer to my craving mind and it was no other than ‘Spirituality.’
My little heart panged for the desire to quench my thirst of ‘releasing the heaviness’ which resided inside of it since years. It hungered after the soul within asking to reveal more of life - Materialistic and Spiritual in the form of Articles and Quotations which had the sole purpose of sharing it with other human beings not for name or fame but to tame this little mind towards the higher goal of ‘Global Peace’ on this earth plane.

Jesus Christ: god can only be reached through him… Is it
correct to say that?
Catch the express or the super fast bullet train. If we are able
to reach our goal the purpose is served. Talk of Jesus Christ,
Mahavira, Gautama Buddha or Prophet Mohammed… all reached the
goal they had established in their life. The goal of all
(including Jesus Christ) was the same… only the paths were
different.
Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed…
all wanted to have one-to-one interaction with God the Almighty.
All four of them succeeded in their life. If Jesus Christ were
to say that God can be reached through him (he is not incorrect)
for any enlightened Soul can guide the humanity to its
logistical end.
Life was made like that by God the Almighty. The Jesus Christ
has been considered in Christianity as the son of God the
Almighty. The teachings of Jesus Christ can also not be
considered wrong but there is all possibility that the
interpretation of the teachings of Jesus Christ may have been
wrongly monitored by people with vested interests.
Such wrong interpretations exist in every religion or Dharma.
The society at present thinks and interprets everything in terms
of materialistic gains. How can then be the teachings of Jesus
Christ remain untouched by impurities?
The so called statement by Jesus Christ that one can reach god
only through him is a misnomer. No enlightened Soul can utter
such words. It is a complete disregard of the teachings of Jesus
Christ. It is upon the masses in general to assess whom to trust
in the present materialistic trend existing in the society. A
blind faith in the Vatican teachings can totally misguide the
humanity towards a catastrophic end.
Even though the interpretation of the teachings of Jesus Christ
by the Vatican carry absolute weight age for most Catholics
around the world but it need not be the absolute truth as was
administered and monitored by Jesus Christ himself. The Vatican
interpretations can be based on absolutely wrong footing.
Let me give an example-
Sometimes back it was announced in most of the newspapers around
the world that John Pope Paul (considered a direct
representative of Jesus Christ on Mother Earth) had arranged for
a team of renowned astronomers and quite a number of powerful
telescopes with the hope that God could be located in the
universe perchance. The poor John Pope Paul failed to realize
that the basic building block of the whole Cosmos is atoms and
molecules. God the Almighty cannot have existence in the form of
a human being… it has to be a source of energy… the might of
which can not be perceived with the limitations of the senses
and the mind.
What an awful waste of money and intelligence… none in the
Catholic world retaliated. What does this prove…? Does this
confirm the blind faith of the masses in the Vatican? Such a
blind faith in the Vatican is absolutely wrong for it leads the
society towards wrong conclusions! If Jesus Christ had been
alive today… he would have outright rejected the actions of
the Vatican.
We are intelligent human beings and we need to introspect upon
everything said or interpreted to us. We have science to support
us whenever the need arises. It is a different matter that
everything in the field of spirituality cannot be interpreted in
terms of science for most things in the spiritual field are
taken care of by faith alone (faith in the existence and system
of God). I again confirm that it is only the absolute faith in
the system of God that can lead us towards the eternal light…
nothing else!
Whatever Jesus Christ may have said at any stage of life would
have been absolutely correct… only the interpretations of his
sayings and teachings are likely to be interpreted wrongly based
on the vested interests many people possess. Furthermore, to be
able to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ one need not become
a Christian. Similarly as to follow the dictates of Lord Krishna
one need not be a Hindu. All teachings are required to be
followed in the right spirit of the sacred scriptures.
Every enlightened teacher like Jesus Christ would always want to
emphasize that it is in the interest of the masses that their
teachings be followed in the right spirit for one (Jesus Christ)
who has already covered the journey knows the path! Swami
Vivekananda… the famous disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa
knew very well that under the guidance of his master he can
become enlightened in this very life. It was up to Swami
Vivekananda entirely whether or not to follow the teachings of
sage Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa in order to realize God in his
lifetime.
Whether we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ or Gautama
Buddha is immaterial. The sole purpose of the journey of life of
a human being is always reaching the end of the journey and this
goal can only be achieved by following the dictates of an
enlightened master alone (like Jesus Christ). It is very
important! The fact written in the Bible that “God can only be
reached through Jesus Christ” confirms this.

YOU WANT REVIVAL? IT TAKES PRAYER
Joel 2 verse 17 “Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?”
Indeed, where is our God? The God of Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Paul, Peter, John and others is waiting for our prayers unto him. I don’t know about you, but I know we need a revival in our land, a great turning unto the LORD God. He is waiting to show himself strong in behalf of those who love him. Prayer is the key to moving the hands of God, and the effectual fervant prayer of a righteous man availeth much. When is the last time you have gathered with others just to pray? Maybe your church is going through a dry spell, and you earnestly want the LORD to do a new work in your midst. Gather together to pray.
I remember my late Uncle Rev. Owen Rozier’s church, Pleasant Hill, having a revival right after Uncle Owen went to be with Jesus (see story below). Although I was not a member there, I was invited to a men’s prayer meeting before the revival was to begin. We turned the lights down low, and gathered around the altar to seek God’s blessings upon the revival (out of over 70 men that attended that church, there were only 15 of us there praying). Let me tell you, the glory of the Lord fell down in that little Baptist church, as we all brokenly poured out our hearts to the Lord. To hear grown men weeping before the altar is a sound I will never forget!
The next week, the Lord added 15 souls to that church, and the members were greatly encouraged. What if ALL 70+ men had attended? Maybe the Lord would have added 70+. Prayer is the key!
Joel 2 verse 18 “Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.”
Gone Home…God Honors Faith And His Servants
This is a short version from story number five (out of 50) from my recently published book, My Walk with the Lord.
Psalm 116.15: “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.”
I had a dear uncle, the Rev. Owen Rozier, who came down with cancer. Although his body was weak, his faith in the Lord was strong. Just like the verse in Amazing Grace “Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come”, Uncle Owen had his share of tribulations while preaching the word for over thirty years. He and my father, the late Rev. A.J. Rozier, were close in age and close as brothers. Daddy went home to be with the Lord in 1966, and here it was in 1987.
On July 17, 1987, about 7 PM, the Lord spoke to me and said, “I’m going to take Uncle Owen home tonight. Go on over to his house.” As I was driving over there, the song “I Won’t Have to Cross Jordan Alone” came on the radio. It played twice. As tears filled my eyes, the Lord gave confirmation of what He had told me.
When I arrived at Uncle owen’s, I noticed several other cars were there. Other people started arriving. No one had called them to come. The Lord drew them so Uncle Owen could preach his last sermon. We all gathered around his bed; I read Psalm 23. Uncle Owen called on someone to pray, and then feebly preached his last sermon..the few words he spoke was precious.
As one of his daughters sang a beautiful song, one she hadn’t sung in 20 years, Uncle Owen took his last breath and went home to be with Jesus.
What was amazing about this, is several days earlier, Uncle Owen told me that he desired to preach one more service. As I prayed for him that day, I asked God to honor his request. On his deathbed, Uncle Owen preached a sweet service. God honors the faith of his servants!
Rev 14.13: “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me. Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.”

Most of us have goals.
Big ones, small ones. But not always do we follow through with them and that…hum…could be dangerous.
You see, within a lifetime our goals may change a little or dramatically, which is fine. The problem is when you have definite goals but can’t follow through with them. It’s crushing. It makes you feel miserable. As if you can’t accomplish anything properly. You start something but it stays unfinished. That’s the deception we want to stay away from. It is a bad bad habit!
Here are a few tips to start fresh!
Write your goal down. I know it’s simple but it works! On a calendar, on a notebook, perhaps put a reminder in your computer to pop up everyday. Write it anywhere where you will be able to see it and where it will make an impact to encourage action. Action is the step that will ultimately finish your goal. Tip one: write it down
Break it down. Smaller steps are easier and more achievable. It makes you feel better because you actually did part of your goal. Give yourself a pat on the shoulder! Tip two: smaller goals = achievable.
Just do it. The action that will make your story a happy story. Not being fastidious here, just realistic. That’s where most of us fail (gym membership that you never use, correspondent course that ended without you, boxes that are still unpack after 2 years of moving in ect.). This is where the bad old habit disappears; it’s when the action replaces the inertia. Tip three: Just do it.
“Nature gave man two ends -one to sit on and one to think with. Ever since, man’s success has been dependent on the one he uses most.” -George R. Fitzpatrick
